Advert Explanation

What ideologies are attached to you advert?
The ideologies attached to the advert are that the iPad is a multitasking product. You are able to do your work, read, play games, socialise and many other things. With the iPad you do not need to be surrounded by books and other media devices as everything you need is implemented into one product. The iPad is expensive to buy, however it is worth it as you are getting value for money.
How does your advert appeal to your target audience?
My advert appeals to target audience as the target audience is everyone. Students and business men and women can use the iPad to do their work. Children and families can use it to play games and anyone can use it to relax and read a book or watch a film.
Referring to Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs, which needs have you addressed in your advert?
My advert addresses Self-actualization, Esteem and Safety in terms of Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs.
What persuasive techniques have you used in your advert?
My advert uses anchorage as a persuasive technique as each image has a caption. Also the brand is in the top hand corner.
